Please note good LASIK candidates will be:

1. between the ages of 18 and 60,
2. not pregnant or breast feeding for at least 3 months,
3. under 300 pounds, due to equipment constraints,
4. out of contact lenses for at least 2 weeks prior to this appointment.

Your LASIK screening appointment will take about two hours and includes extensive testing, strong dilation, check for dryness and any obvious reasons you may not be a good candidate. You may want to consider bringing a driver due to the dilation.
